LTC Tony Bare (ret) DPT, ATC, OCS
Tony was raised in Mitchell, Nebraska and received his sports medicine training at the University of Wyoming. He then joined the Army and completed the Army-Baylor Masters of Physical Therapy program in 1994. In 2008 he went back to Baylor to earn his doctorate in physical therapy. Tony received his Certification in Athletic Training in 1994 and a certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2003.
Tony has worked with Olympic caliber athletes all over the world. He is recognized nationally as a subject matter expert in biomechanics of walking, running and orthotic fabrication. He is also a myofascial therapist and was recognized by the Surgeon General in 2009 as one of the best clinicians in the military. Tony retired from the Army after 20 years as a Combat Veteran.
Tony enjoys helping patients to become pain-free and loves the challenge of helping patients who have been in pain for years or have given up hope. He has an amazing success rate with these patients! Tony also works with patients suffering from heartburn and a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms.
Tony enjoys spending time with his family, his 290 gallon reef aquarium and running the family homestead which includes raising goats, ducks, geese, turkeys, chickens and guinea fowl along with gardening. The Bares relocated from Colorado Springs, CO to Laramie, WY in July 2017.
Amy grew up in south Alabama and has lived in Kentucky, Germany, Korea, Colorado and now Wyoming. She has a BS in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also earned qualification, with 30 additional coursework hours, to sit for the CPA exam and worked several years in public accounting in tax and audit and in private accounting. She was self employed as a fitness franchise owner for 5 years, owning the largest pre and postnatal fitness program in the country and is certified to teach multiple fitness class formats and is a certified running coach. She also certified as a birth doula and childbirth educator and taught childbirth education classes and attended births in order to help the mothers have a more comfortable experience.
In addition to being a wife and mama to three, Amy is also very active and enjoys exercise and running and has completed five full marathons. She also helps her husband run their family homestead, raising a variety of animals and enjoys canning and preserving food and baking from scratch. Amy is in charge of the business side of Bare PT.
